"Just in the last few months we’ve witnessed bomb threats to dozens of our beloved Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), a mass shooting in Buffalo, NY conducted by a white supremist targeting Black Americans, and another shooting at a Taiwanese church in Laguna Woods, CA. At a time where we are witnessing increased threats to our communities, I am beyond pleased that the House passed the Domestic Terrorism Prevention Act. White supremacy is a threat to our democracy, and we must do everything we can to stop these acts of hatred."
