"Mass shootings have tripled since the Assault Weapons Ban ended in 2004. There is a clear line between these weapons and mass violence in our communities. I know I speak for many in my community when I say we are sick at heart from hearing one story after another of people innocently going about their lives in schools, grocery stores, churches, movie theaters, clubs and being killed with these weapons of war. Enough is enough."
