"Unlocking the remaining funds in the Restaurant Revitalization Fund would give small businesses the opportunity to pay off debt accrued during the pandemic and resume their normal operations. Thousands of small businesses are still experiencing sales below pre-pandemic levels, likely to worsen in light of recent developments regarding new COVID-19 variants and Monkeypox. Access to the remaining RRF funds is pivotal to ensuring that the restaurant industry can survive. I urge the SBA to take the necessary steps to disburse these remaining funds."
